Mathematics Department is one of the oldest departments of Sir C R Reddy College for Women, Eluru established in the year 1988, the department is offering B.Sc. with Stream
MPC(Mathematics Physics Chemistry)
MPCS (Mathematics Physics Computer Science)
MECS(Mathematics Electronics Computer Science)
MSCS(Mathematics Statistics Computer Science)
MCCS(Mathematics Chemistry Computer Science) in English medium,
MCCS introduced from the academic year 2017-2018. At present the department is offering major and minor subjects.
The department was enriched with 12 faculty members presently the department is headed by Smt. S.S.L.Sabari kumari and the college was affiliated to Andhra University from 1988 to 2012 from 2012 onwards college was affiliated to Adikavi Nannaya University.
Highlights of the Department of Mathematics:
The department has maintained a Library consisting of 163 valuable books.
These books are very useful for our students. Our faculty member
Mrs.O.G.V.Sai Divya selected as the “ STATE BEST LECTURER AWARD " in
state level handwriting competitions on the occasion of August 15th
AZADIKA AMRIT MAHOSTAV in A.P for the year 2022.
Some faculties in our department members qualified SWAYAM NPTEL Courses
our department members also published in UGC care and International
Journals.
Every year Campus placements are Organized by the Campus placement
cell of our college and our students are placed in various sectors.
Our students actively participated in “ADVIKA 2K19” in AKNU,
Rajamahendravaram in September 2019.
One of our students K.Bhanu Prasanna bagged 11th Rank in Telangana state ICET-2023 and achieved laurel to the college.
The department has been securing excellent results since inception.
The department organizes Guest lecturers, Poster presentations etc.
